Haken are one of the most exciting bands in progressive metal, known for their epic songs and breathtaking live performances. The band last played a sold-out show in Budapest in 2023, and on September 29 they return to Dürer Kert with a renewed lineup.

    Earlier this year, Haken announced the departure of guitarist Charlie Griffiths and bassist Conner Green from the band. Alongside the news of the split, they also revealed that new music would be arriving soon. Now they have released their first new song, titled In a Fever Dream. The track is the band’s first new material since their 2023 album Fauna. The song was produced by George Lever, who has also worked with Loathe and Sleep Token.

    In a Fever Dream perfectly captures the atmospheric yet technically sophisticated sound that has become the band’s trademark, while also signaling the start of a new chapter. This fall, Haken will take this new era on stage across Europe, performing new compositions alongside their classics. Once again, we can expect a concert of elemental power from Haken on September 29 at Dürer Kert. Tickets go on sale June 5.
