13 hotels and one restaurant won the Hungarian Tourism Quality Award 2009, announced István Újhelyi, President of the National Tourism Commission and Co-President Peter Wolff at a press conference held recently at Danubius Hotel Arena. The award ceremony is traditionally organized at the Hungexpo’s Travel Exhibition every year.
Winners for the year 2009 include the Wunderlich Winery in Villány. Mariann Trencsényi, Project Director of the Hungarian Tourism Quality Award Program has revealed the deadline of the annual tender May 31. The hotels entering the competition are tested anonymously and those who win can enjoy special promotions from the Hungarian National Tourist Office. Organizers wish to classify a number of restaurants and spas in the future.
