The pioneers of hybrid sound are returning to Budapest! The Browning have visited us several times before, throwing massive parties, and now on June 17 they will once again ignite the Hungarian rave metal crowd at Analog Music Hall with their latest album.
Formed in 2005 in Kansas City, The Browning built their reputation on a relentless fusion of deathcore, metalcore, and electronic music, incorporating elements of hardstyle, dubstep, and trance to create a distinctive and innovative sound. Over the years, they have become defining figures of the genre, bridging the furious energy of metal with the pulsating drive of electronic beats.
Known for their bold experimentation, the band has continued to refine their genre-defying style, which they dub “rave metal” - a high-energy blend where visceral riffs collide with hypnotic electronic rhythms. This evolution pushes the fusion of metal and electronic music into new territories, reshaping how both genres are perceived.
Across their six studio albums to date, they have consistently followed this path, including their most recent release, OMNI. The album is not only sonically abrasive, but also lyrically sharp, as McBee’s words cut deep, exposing the fractures of mass manipulation with razor precision.
Since OMNI, they have released another album: Burn This World [EVOLVED], which came out on February 11 this year. This record is a reimagining of their influential 2011 release. It’s far from a typical anniversary reissue: the songs were completely re-recorded from the ground up, resulting in a heavier, more intense, and thoroughly modern sound. What remains unchanged, however, is the chaos this genre creates and, of course, the unforgettable energy every fan knows so well.
Fans can experience this not only on record but also at The Browning’s explosive live shows, renowned for reaching maximum energy levels. Each performance delivers a true sensory overload, combining the crushing weight of metal with the precision of electronic music.
On June 17, rave metal will make everyone move at Analog Music Hall. Those who don’t want to miss the concert of these hybrid music pioneers should secure their tickets now as sales have already begun.
