LOVEBITES hit the audience with elemental force. The all-female Japanese power metal band has wasted no time in recent years, conquering the stages of major rock and metal festivals one after another. This summer, they will finally arrive to Budapest with the tour for their new album, performing on July 23 at Analog Music Hall.

    LOVEBITES were formed in 2016 and consist of Asami (vocals), Midori and Miyako (guitars), Fami (bass), and Haruna (drums). Their very first EP was already produced by renowned Finnish sound engineers Mikko Karmila and Mika Jussila, who have worked with bands such as Nightwish, Children of Bodom, and Amorphis. Their debut album, Awakening From Abyss, was released in 2017, and their introduction was so successful that they were invited to perform at Vans Warped Tour Japan 2018 Presented by XFLAG. Shortly afterwards, they also appeared at Wacken Open Air and Bloodstock Open Air. Over the past decade, the band has played numerous prestigious festivals, with one of their most memorable performances taking place at Download Festival, where Asami joined Halestorm on stage to perform “Love Bites (And So Do I)”: the song that inspired the band’s name.

     LOVEBITES operate with whirlwind intensity: in their ten years of existence, they have released five full-length albums, the latest of which, Outstanding Power, came out this February. In 2024, the band embarked on a world tour, performing in the United Kingdom, South Korea, Japan, the United States, and at several major European festivals, including Hellfest, Resurrection Fest, and Roskilde. This summer, the power metal band continues to expand their horizons, and for the first time, they will be seen live in Budapest on July 23 at Analog Music Hall.
