The British singer-songwriter returns to Budapest with his new album We Will Always Be The Way We Were, set for release in April. Jack Savoretti previously played a sold-out show at Akvárium Klub in 2022, and now he is coming back as part of his biggest tour, performing this time at RaM-ArT Theatre on October 1.

    The album tour kicks off in Athens on September 25 and arrives in Hungary on October 1. Jack Savoretti’s ninth studio album, We Will Always Be The Way We Were, marks a bold return to his musical roots.

    Twenty years have passed since the release of Jack’s debut album Between the Minds. The new record celebrates the 20th anniversary of that release and sees Jack reconnecting with the raw storytelling and cinematic atmosphere that defined his earliest work. Written and recorded with his long-time touring band, the album celebrates craftsmanship, camaraderie and creative freedom—qualities that have kept him at the forefront of British songwriting for over two decades.

    “This is a full-circle album,” says Jack. “It’s a return to my roots, to the neighbourhood where I first started making music, with the same friends and musicians I met around Ladbroke Grove and Portobello Road. It’s the album I always wanted to make at the beginning of my career, but back then I didn’t yet have the courage or experience. Now I do.”

    Jack’s current single, the album’s title track, was recently added to the BBC Radio 2 A List, and earlier this month he performed the song on The Graham Norton Show.
