Son Lux’s elusive musical universe is capable of transporting our minds to the most unexpected places: the band questions everything we think we know about making music, carefully constructing melodies that are at times raw and intimate, at others ethereal and cinematic. Son Lux feels as though they have been composing music for the images unfolding in our imagination from the very beginning, so it is no surprise that over time they have become sought-after film composers, earning both Academy Award and BAFTA nominations. This time, however, they are focusing on their ninth studio album, which they will present in Hungary on March 23, 2027, at Magyar Zene Háza.

    Son Lux strives to challenge conventional assumptions about how music is made and to build their own system from the molecular level upward: shaping a musical language driven by curiosity and balanced by opposites. Over the past two decades, the band has released numerous recordings marked equally by raw emotional intimacy and meticulously crafted electronic soundscapes, while performing at major venues and festivals around the world.

    Son Lux composed the score for A24’s Academy Award-winning Everything Everywhere All at Once, which earned them two Oscar nominations and a BAFTA nomination. They also created the music for Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts (2025) and the upcoming Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother (2026).

    This autumn, Son Lux will release their ninth studio album, Out Into, before embarking on a world tour that will finally bring them back to Hungary after four years, performing on March 23, 2027, at the Magyar Zene Háza.
