The tantalizing smell of burgers, the sound of street music and the excitement of horse-racing will all be part and parcel of the fifth annual Food Truck Show in Kincsem Park from September 1st to 3rd.
In addition to the usual favorites, seven new food trucks will be added to the team for a total of 52 places to choose from. The foods from the new truck additions will include lecsó (the quintissential Hungarian summer ragout of paprika-flavored onions, peppers and tomatoes), waffles (free of gluten, lactose and everything….), and smoked BBQ offerings.
During the event, there will be continuous horse and greyhound races, kids will be able to enjoy a playhouse made totally of recyled materials, face-painting and pony rides. Food Truck Cinema will be showing films on the big screen each of the 3 dazy, including the blockbuster Hungarian moive ’Kincsem’ on Sunday. The first ever Street Food Book, featuring recipes from all the beloved food trucks, will be available for sale all weekend.
As usual, throughout the weekend the yellow school bus will take visitors for free between Deák Ferenc Square and Kincsem Park and those arriving to the Pillangó Street stop of the Metro 2 line, can hop on the Kincsem Park train.
