Dubinski brings their happy songs to Budapest

05 September 2025

The four brothers of Dubinski already got the Hungarian audience dancing at the beginning of the year as guests of The Wanton Bishops, and now they are returning to Turbina on November 26 with their new album, What Is Your Definition Of Happiness.

Dubinski consists of four inseparable brothers: Eugene, Fergus, Donal, and Eion Gaine. The brothers spent their childhood isolated from everything in the Scottish Highlands. However, they always shared a love of music and spent their teenage years writing and performing songs purely for the joy of it. Eventually, the brothers moved to Edinburgh to turn their childhood hobby into a career. They took the name Dubinski, their late mother's maiden name, and released their debut album in 2022. The new album was a success, and their energetic concerts had audiences dancing at several venues abroad. With the release of their new album What Is Your Definition Of Happiness they are now back on the road. The album was produced by Grammy Award winners Mike Horner and Robbie Nelson (The Rolling Stones, Hot Chip, Hozier, Deaf Havana).

Dubinski described the new album "a record of love, happiness, pain, sorrow, grief, healing, growth and acceptance. We wanted to tell a story with this album, and the flow is similar to the way the seasons change."

They will also be visiting Budapest with their lighthearted songs on their album release tour, heading to Turbina on November 26!
