Chelsea Wolfe returns to Budapest with new songs

26 June 2026

Dark diva Chelsea Wolfe has surprised fans with two new songs, The Dark and Death Is Not the End, while also announcing an extensive US and European tour. Following her last sold-out Budapest show, Wolfe will return to the Hungarian capital on December 7 to Akvárium Klub.

Released alongside the tour announcement, The Dark and Death Is Not the End mark the singer-songwriter’s first new recordings since her 2024 album She Reaches Out to She Reaches Out to She, and offer the first glimpse into her forthcoming ninth studio album.

Death Is Not the End features guitarist Robin Finck (Nine Inch Nails) and drummer Matt Chamberlain (Tori Amos, Fiona Apple), while The Dark showcases drummer Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint, Courtney Barnett) alongside bassist Justin Meldal-Johnsen (Air, Beck).

Coinciding with the release of the new songs, Chelsea Wolfe has announced a massive 43-date tour across the US and Europe. The European leg will stop in Budapest on December 7, where she will perform at Akvárium Klub.

Over the years, Chelsea Wolfe has established herself as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary alternative music. Blending elements of doom metal, folk, industrial, and electronic music, she has created a unique and atmospheric sonic universe. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with artists including Chino Moreno (Deftones), Xiu Xiu, and Converge, while her music has also been featured in HBO’s Game of Thrones.

The release of the two new tracks is accompanied by a special collaboration with Heretic Parfum. Wolfe appears as the face of the brand’s GHOSTS fragrance collection, the perfume house’s first-ever partnership with a musician. Built around soundscapes created from Wolfe’s new material, the campaign offers fans an early glimpse into the mood and aesthetic of the upcoming album.

With these new songs, Chelsea Wolfe opens a new chapter in her career, further expanding the dark yet captivating artistic world that has earned her a devoted global following over the past decade.

Tickets for the Budapest concert go on sale on June 26 at 10 AM.
