Bullet For My Valentine will bring their tour in support of the forthcoming Social Apocalypse album to Budapest Arena on 15 February, ahead of the record’s March release. They will be joined by Pendulum as very special guest and Dark Divine as opener -  what promises to be a powerful night.

    The band will release a new album after six years, a process that Matt Tuck describes as a journey. According to the frontman, each album is about capturing the essence of a particular moment in time: a freeze-frame snapshot of its creators and the world around them. Nothing is forced, scripted or disingenuous.

    “Let life and our experiences set the course,” Tuck says, with a knowing wisdom.

    Bullet For My Valentine have grown accustomed to this creative approach: it is a sense of honesty in the process that is hard to argue with, and for good reason. Over the course of their nearly 30-year career, Bullet For My Valentine have become one of the UK’s best-known rock and metal exports, with multi-million album sales, multi-billion streaming figures, numerous awards and appearances on the world’s biggest stages. Yet these achievements only go some way towards illustrating the true scale of their influence and impact.

    The culmination of those experiences and achievements is writ large across ‘Social Apocalypse’, their eighth full-length, which arrives on March 19th via the esteemed Spinefarm. It’s a 10-track set that comprises a lifetime’s learnings and inspirations, and which definitively captures every facet of the Bullet For My Valentine sound in masterfully-honed results. It’s an album, Tuck notes, coloured by “light and shade” that is at once “clean and dirty”, “intense and cinematic”. “I feel like this will be Bullet fans’ ultimate record, as it pulls together sounds and ideas from every chapter of our story while continuing to push them into new territory,” he says.

    Social Apocalypse recalls the band’s celebrated past without repeating it, while determinedly breaking new ground. The beloved hallmarks of Bullet For My Valentine’s past and present—the rapid-fire riffing of Acid Rain and Fragile, the melodic sensibility of Masquerade and Never Enough, and the anthemic balladry of Read Between The Lines and Here Without You—are refocused and reenergised for the future.

    They will bring this momentum to Budapest with the help of Pendulum and Dark Divine. Pendulum are one of the best-known electronic rock acts, masterfully combining drum and bass with rock music. Hungarian audiences witnessed this first-hand last year, when the band presented their new album to a sold-out Barba Negra crowd.

    Dark Divine, who blend metalcore elements into their sound, will open the night for Bullet For My Valentine and Pendulum on 15 February at Budapest Arena.

    Bullet For My Valentine fan-club members will have first access to tickets from 10:00 a.m. on 28 September. Registered Live Nation members can join the pre-sale from 10:00 a.m. on 29 September, while general on-sale begins at 10:00 a.m. on 30 September.
