Angels Calling – Solence presents their new album in Budapest

07 December 2025

The Swedish electronic metal band last performed in Hungary as guests of Five Finger Death Punch at the Budapest Arena — now they return with their own headlining tour and their new album, Angels Calling. Solence won’t be coming alone: Dream State and Written By Wolves will join them, ensuring a full night of music on April 19 at the Analog Music Hall.

No matter where we come from, music connects and unites us. Just as Solence blends metal, electronic, alternative and pop elements in their sound, the Swedish band is able to reach people of all backgrounds with their music. They work just as well in a mosh pit as they do at Coachella. The band — Markus Videsäter (vocals), David “Viking” Vikingsson (drums), David Strääf (guitar) and Johan Swärd (keyboards) — channels the energy of togetherness into their songs, which they want to share with others as loudly as possible.

Formed in high school, the group entered the global scene with their album Brothers, followed by Direction and Deafening, featuring fan favorites like Heaven and Good F**king Music, both surpassing 19 million Spotify streams, while Animal In Me has already exceeded 21 million. Their records have been praised by Alternative Press and Outburn, the latter describing Deafening as “a milestone of possibility, perseverance and positivity.” In 2023, they expanded their universe with Hope is  Cult, and this fall they released their fifth studio album, Angels Calling. Critics have described the new record as an exciting journey on the steepest and wildest roller coaster.

Beyond Solence, David and Markus have also made their mark in the pop world, working as songwriters, producers and multi-instrumentalists on projects for global superstars such as Alok, Martin Jensen, Jason Derulo, Bebe Rexha, Bahjat, Violet Skies, and Nova Miller.

The band’s goal at every show is to make sure the audience feels great while listening to their music. Joining this mission on April 19 will be Welsh band Dream State, masters of fusing electronic and heavier genres, and the evening will also feature New Zealand’s Written By Wolves, who will bring their cinematic rock music to the Analog Music Hall.

Ticket sales start on December 9 at 10 a.m.
