A Perfect Circle show in Hungary for the very first time

27 October 2025

The music of A Perfect Circle is both dramatic and uplifting. Founded by Billy Howerdel and Maynard James Keenan, the band has released four studio albums over its 25-year career and performed at some of the most prestigious venues around the world. Songs like Judith and 3 Libras have become cornerstones of alternative and hard rock. In their 25-year history, A Perfect Circle has never before performed in Hungary — but they are now making up for it with an unforgettable concert on June 15 at Budapest Park.

A Perfect Circle was formed in 1999 by Billy Howerdel and Maynard James Keenan, who is also the vocalist of Tool and Puscifer. The band has released four albums so far, with their debut Mer de Noms becoming the highest-charting rock debut album at the time of its release. This record features Judith and 3 Libras, both considered milestones in the history of alternative and hard rock. Their 2000 debut was followed by Thirteenth Step (2003), eMOTIVe (2004), and Eat the Elephant (2018), the latter debuting at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and topping the Billboard Rock Albums chart.

Their music is melancholic, tense, and ethereal; some critics have referred to them as a more lyrical version of Tool, although A Perfect Circle has always followed its own artistic path. The band has toured the world as a festival headliner, filling renowned venues such as the Hollywood Bowl, Madison Square Garden, and Red Rocks Amphitheatre. They have also appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and The Tonight Show. The band last performed in Europe in 2018. As Billy Howerdel put it: "To our European friends. We miss you. It's been too long... about seven years. We found the solution." So now A Perfect Circle will be performing on the continent again this summer, and Hungary will finally be included in the 18-stop tour, allowing us to immerse ourselves in their dark melodies on June 15 at Budapest Park.

Tickets will first be available to members of the band’s official fan club starting October 29 at 10 a.m., followed by registered Live Nation members on October 30 at 10 a.m. General ticket sales begin on October 31 at 10 a.m.
