The Spirit of Bread Festival is an annual large-scale family event, which brings together home-baking Moms, Dads, Michelin-star chefs, winemakers, gourmet food bloggers, and the crowds of happy onlookers.
One of the many activities this day will include a bread-baking competition in two classes reflecting both professionals and amateurs. Bakeries participating include Pipacs, Jacques Liszt, Panificio il basilico, Artizán, Marmorstein and Királypék to name just a few.
The jury will include such celebrities as Tamás B. Molnár (Editor of Hungary's Gault Millau), Róbert Rosenstein (Chef of Rosenstein Restaurant) and István Pesti of Platán Restaurant in Tata.
There will be workshops for adults and children will be able to prepare mini baked goods at the Miele Gastro Island.
There will be plenty of high quality foods and wines available. The famous Anyukám Mondta! restaurant will be present and wines will be compliments of the Bortársaság.
The festival will be held this year for the first time in the garden of the MOM Cultural Center on August 20th, from 10 am – 6 pm.
