Jamie Oliver to open restaurant in Budapest

The first Jamie’s Italian restaurant in the Central-European region will open in the first quarter of 2016 in the Buda Castle District, with Zsidai Gastronomy Group being the exclusive operating partner.

A partnership between Jamie Oliver and his Italian mentor, chef Gennaro Contaldo, Jamie’s Italian has won millions of fans for its delicious and affordable food and its friendly and welcoming service. Their menu is based on dishes you’d find people eating all over Italy, made with care but delivered without fuss, using the best ingredients. 

The good news is that, as of spring 2016, Jamie’s Italian will be available in Hungary, too!
The casual Italian restaurant will see pasta being made onsite daily and will also house an open kitchen and a terrace overlooking the Mathias church. Jamie’s Italian Budapest will utilise many of the regions finest ingredients and work has begun to identify the best producers. High quality fresh ingredients with special attention to sustainability, ethical animal treatment and animal welfare – all under detailed and continous control. It is also an excellent opportunity for suppliers to join an international network.
