Széll Tamás and the Bocuse d'Or finals
The first chef to represent Hungary at the prestigious Bocuse d’Or world chef championship, Tamás Széll is ready and prepared for the Lyon finals, to take place in a few days, on January 30.

With the 9th place of the European Bocuse d’Or, Széll earned the right to take part in the world final in Lyon. The chef of Michelin Star restaurant Onyx says his goal is to finish in top 10 out of the 24 competitors. “Bocuse d’Or is the perfect place to demonstrate Hungary’s potentials, to put Hungary on the fine dining horizon, to lure foreign tourists to Hungary. The competition serves as an exhibition fair: The best Hungarian wines will be presented, including Kadarka, Furmint and Tokaj varieties,” organizers, sponsors and participants agreed.
