Pork and Sausage Festival
From October 13-15, the Budapest Pork and Sausage Festival will be held for the fourth time at the Hungarian Railway History Park. A great number of program and famous performers will be entertaining visitors over these 3 days.

The Pork and Sausage Festival brings the countryside to Budapest for a weekend. In the combined areas of the Railway History Park and the Water Tower Park, three Sausage Streets, Cheese and Spice Street, Handicrafts Street and Marketplace will be welcoming hungry visitors and various breweries, brandy distilleries and wineries will be there with their spirited beverages. The priority for this festival is to ensure the highest quality of the sausages. The giant sausage fair will last for 3 days, where it will be possible to sample 250 kinds of homemade sausages, not available in any retail stores. Sausage producers will be coming from all over the country. In addition to the sausages, chimney cakes, homemade cheeses, honey, jam, spices, etc., can all be purchased.

The Budapest Pork and Sausage Festival is a family event. As such, it offers plenty of program for both kids and adults.
Free children's programs: petting zoo, storybook theater, folk playground with 30 games, slides, bouncy castle, archery, face painting, flute instruction, forging and other folk craftsmen's craftsmen, interactive agricultural exhibitions of old farm equipment,
Free adult programs: oldtimer car and motor show in the Orient, teak rail train wagon with tour guide, tractor and stable motor interactive exhibition + 60 music programs with 300 performers on two stages. All day dance and folklore music and dance performances, and in the evenings, legendary nostalgic bands will perform.
