Nick Theurer at the Budapest Whiskey Show
It’s full-bodied, characteristic, diverse and last but not least, it has a soul. Time changes, but a good whiskey never goes out of style. Visitors tried the new Jack Daniel’s at Budapest’s Whiskey Show 2015, organized on November 7 at Corinthia Hotel Budapest.

The Whiskey Show 2015 exhibited the newest quality drinks, so the fans of the popular drink had a chance to try this year’s top whiskeys. Whiskey-fans, besides trying the specialties of the Whiskey Show, had a chance to participate in master classes, held by whiskey experts from around the world, and become ’masters’ of the noble drink.

In addition, Nick Theurer, the Brown-Forman brand ambassador for Germany, gave a speech at the event, upon the occasion of his first visit to Hungary. Nick shared secrets with the audience about Jack Daniel’s and Woodford Reserve whiskeys. “I am very lucky because really exciting stories are linked to both brands, so besides teaching new things to those who are interested, I also get to tell entertaining stories. I really love my job, because I can always meet new people, and especially here, in Budapest the audience is really open-minded and interested,” said Nick, who introduced guests to the secrets of tasting, after the ‘history class.’

This was the first time that the Hungarian general public has a chance to try Jack Daniel’s Gold No. 27. The special flavor of this new type of whiskey comes from a double charcoal-mellowing process, 4 years of aging in oak barrels and another year in maple barrels, before the final bottling. In Hungary, the Gold No. 27 is available at the airport.

Jack Daniel’s reminds you to drink responsibly.
