As District I Mayor Tamás Nagy cut the ribbon of national colors, he symbolically opened the garden area of the restaurant Bonfini Kert (kert means garden) that belongs to the four-star Hotel Castle Garden Budapest, opened this spring, located at the foot of the Buda Castle near Bécsi Gate.

By its name, the owners of the brand new restaurant do not only wish to emphasize the Italian characteristic of the cuisine but also their commitment to Italian culture – according to owner/managing director Zoltán Rázga.

The quality level of the restaurant is ensured by restaurant manager Roland Harangozó and master chef Vlad Riskov, the duo who made Dunapark café successful.
The masterpieces of traditional Italian cuisine are prepared at the highest quality on the basis of original recipes with basic materials brought directly from Italy. Besides, in order to please tourists visiting the place, traditional Hungarian dishes are also on the menu. Excellent Hungarian wines are offered to accompany the dishes.

The managers of the restaurant expect to welcome local customers and tourists alike. With the large garden space, situated gradually, they would like to attract as many returning guests as possible. A further characteristic of the place is that – just like the adjoining hotel – it is non-smoking.
