Frozen yogurt shop opens in Budapest
A new frozen yogurt shop opened next to the Opera House in Budapest’s District 6, as a joint business of Hungarian and French private individuals. Named Yogurt Fabbrica, the little shop offers a healthy alternative of ice-cream.

The recipe of frozen yogurt, which is much healthier than traditional ice cream, originates from Italy, but fresh milk and fresh yogurt is purchased from Hungarian partners. Founders plan to open further Yogurt Fabbrica shops in Budapest and in bigger Hungarian cities.
Frozen yogurt is made with fresh milk and fresh yogurt, and became very popular all over the world, mainly because it contains less sugar, calories and fat, than ice cream (only 122,2 kcal per 100 gram serving). Yogurt Fabbrica offers classic and flavored versions of frozen yogurt, numerous toppings, fresh fruit juices, soft drinks, coffee, etc. The shop is a joint enterprise of Hungarian and French businessmen Emil Ferenczy and Henri Boulgakov, respectively. They discovered frozen yogurt in the United States and decided to bring and introduce it in the Hungarian capital.
