‘Itt élned, halnod kell’ is an excerption of the Szózat, the second national anthem of Hungary. In English, it translates literally to 'Here you must live and die!'
The giant show is performed by a 500 member theatrical company featuring actors, celebrity singers, dancers, riders and fire jugglers who commemorate the main events of Hungarian history all the way from the conquest till the regime change. The stage involves the entire statue assemblage of Heroes' Square. The spectacular performance addressing the mass public is an honorable tribute to the 60th anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution and Freedom Fight of 1956.
