The Hungarian Press Photo Exhibition is being organized for the 34th time at the Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center in Budapest, at Nagymező utca 8. The exhibition closes on May 29.

’Nothing special’ - this is the title given of one of the series awarded in this year’s Hungarian Press Photo Contest and Exhibition, the greatest show of Hungarian photojournalism. These subtle, sensitive portraits filled with empathy depict marginalized people in society. “When compiling the pictures for the exhibition, our endeavor was to create a selection of both traditional and migrant crisis images, which reflect the diverse perspectives of photographers trying to deal with the most important events and occurrences of the previous year,” organizer and curator Tamás Szigeti says.
